Elizabeth Joseph is a dynamic entrepreneur and visionary educator with a strong presence in both the UAE and India. With over two decades of experience in the education sector and a distinguished corporate background, she stands out as a multifaceted leader committed to empowering communities through learning, arts, and culture.
Her professional journey includes impactful roles at global organizations such as Dale Carnegie (USA) – Kuwait and Deloitte & Touche – UAE. Over seven years, she cultivated expertise in leadership, communication, and strategic planning—skills that would later shape her influential career in education.
With more than 23 years in the education industry, Elizabeth has dedicated herself to transformative learning experiences and creative expression. Her deep passion for the arts led her to revive Kalabhavan UAE in 2015 during a critical phase. Through her leadership, Kalabhavan UAE was rejuvenated into a premier institution for arts education, continuing the legacy of its founder, Dr. Fr. Abel, and becoming a cultural beacon in the region.
Elizabeth is also a committed advocate for women’s empowerment and global Malayali engagement. She actively contributes to networks such as the Women Entrepreneurs Network (WEN) – Kerala and the World Malayali Council – UAE, fostering collaboration and leadership among women and diaspora communities.
Her most ambitious venture to date is Eli’s Learning, a global educational initiative named in her honor. Grounded in the philosophy of “One Dream, One Team,” Eli’s Learning is designed to redefine education through holistic development in music, visual and performing arts, communication, languages, and sports. With a foundation built on excellence, innovation, cultural respect, and passion, Eli’s Learning is set for global expansion through a strategic franchising model launching in 2025.
Elizabeth has been featured in numerous interviews on TV and radio across the UAE and Kerala, where she shares her inspiring journey and vision for the future of education and the arts.

About Kalabhavan
Dr. Fr. Abel
Founder of Kalabhavan
In the Kerala Catholic Church Dr. Fr. Abel, CMI, was a towering figure, having crafted much of its liturgy, including its songs, when the liturgical language was changed to Malayalam from Syrian. But in the state’s secular world, Dr. Fr. Abel had an equally impressive life, having created this art abode, Kalabhavan that nurtures thousands of talents every year. Dr. Fr. Abel was originally an academician, having done his doctorate in Journalism & Politics from Rome International University, and having taught at Devagiri College, Kozhikode. But nothing could silence the humming within.
Looking back, Kalabhavan’s success can largely be attributed to two philosophies that
Dr. Fr. Abel taught and lived. Love art and serve art lovers, without any considerations like caste, creed, rich, or poor. He also effortlessly demolished the caste identification of art forms like Mohiniyattom, Kathakali and Bharata Natyam, encouraging artistes from all communities to learn and master the art forms. Fr. Abel's panacea for organising children and youth and his credo – "catch them young" – helped him establish the concept of Kalabhavan. Hundreds of children fine-tune their skills in over 20 literary fields at Kalabhavan..
