Competition Categories
• Carol Bells Choir (Carol Competition)
• Ho Ho Ho! (Santa Claus Competition)
• My Christmas Cribe (Cribe Competition)
• My Christmas Tree (Christmas Tree Competition)
Carol Bells Choir (Carol Competition)
• The first round of the competition will be held during the months of April, May, and June. The second round will be held in September and October, with the finals on December 1st.
• Choir size: Minimum 7 members, maximum 20 members.
• Registration fee is AED 300 for the first round and AED 200 for the second round.
• Song requirement: Only carol songs, and participants can sing in any language.
• Music: Background music can include karaoke or musical instruments.
• Song genres: Any genre like Eastern, Western, harmony, semi-classical, etc.
• Age limit: 5 up
• Participation: No participant can be part of more than one choir
• Performance time: Two songs, maximum 15 minutes, including stage setup.
• Judgment Criteria: Uniform, good harmonization, voice quality, overall performance.
My Christmas Cribe (Cribe Competition)
• Registration fee is AED 200
• Handmade items: All crib elements must be handmade and crafted.
• Space: Participants must stick to the allotted space for decoration
• Team size: A maximum of 10 members for preparing the crib
• No living beings: Cannot use living beings in the crib setup
• Ready-made settings: Pre-made crib settings will not be accepted
• Materials: No plastic or thermocol allowed.
• Safety: No fire or electrical items should be used
• Judgment Criteria: Creativity and overall performance
My Christmas Tree (Christmas Tree Competition)
• Registration fee is AED 200
• Tree Type: Tree must be artificial and easily removable.
• Size Restrictions: Width: 4 feet, Depth: 3 feet, Height: 5 feet
• Lighting: Only indoor electric lights are allowed (no candles)
• Aesthetic Appeal: The tree should have a visually harmonious appearance, with well-balanced colors, ornaments, and style (traditional, modern, whimsical, etc.).
• Decorative Details: Pay attention to the design, quality, and cohesion of the decorations
• Team Size: 3 to 5 members
Ho Ho Ho! (Santa Claus Competition)
• Registration fee is AED 200
• Judging Criteria : Appearance (40%): Costume, beard, and overall festive attire.
Talent Show (60%): Performance and entertainment value.
• Costumes/Performances: Must be festive, creative, and respectful
• Team size: Minimum 10 members, maximum 15 members
• Performance style: Must resemble carol rounds
