Vidyarambham is the most auspicious occasion of the year to begin classes in music, dance, and other folk arts. It is celebrated on the tenth day of Navaratri, also known as Vijayadashami, and is observed throughout South India. Although the rituals may vary slightly depending on the location and state, the essence remains the same.

This year, Vidyarambam will be held on October 13th at Kalabhavan Sharjah.

The Ezhuthiniruth ceremony, conducted by
Hitesh Joshi Panditji, will take place from 8:30 am to 9:30 am, following the pooja at 8:00 am.

We have arranged a "Chilanka Kettu" ceremony for all new admissions in classical dance.

New enrollments for music, classical and cinematic dance, and musical instruments can be registered on the same day. Please note that Chilenkas are available only to pre-booked students.
